Biography
Mark Tregonning is a graduate of both Theatre & Film at Victoria University, Wellington (1996) and the VCA Drama School (2000). He helped devise and perform Gilgamesh (Uncle Semolina & Friends), which played in the Next Wave Festival (2002) and the Melbourne International Arts Festival (2004), and later in 2007 toured to London (Barbican Theatre), China and Sydney (Sydney Opera House).
 
Other theatre credits include The UFO Show (devised with Uncle Semolina) (2005), In Other Words (devised with Talya Chalef) (2007), Mozart’s the Abduction from the Seraglio (Lyric Opera) (2007) , Jet of Blood (Ignite Productions) (2007) and A Dream Play (Ignite Productions) (2009). In 2008 Mark’s company Tiny Dynamite Theatre produced The Lonesome West, in which he also featured as a performer.
 
For X:MACHINE, Mark devised and performed Serial Blogger (X:MACHINE, Next Wave Festival) and devised and performed as part of the companies research works The FaceSpace Project (2009) and Queer as F**k (2010), as well as being an online artist for the Youth Phase.
 
His TV credits include The Nation (2007) and City Homicide (2008).
